Start Your Day Right in Bryan, Tx

Hello, Sunbeam!

Sunbeam isn't just a bagel shop. It's a feeling. That warm morning light that floods the room, the smell of fresh-baked bread, the sound of a good playlist and easy conversation: that's what we're going for, every single day.

Building Spaces People Love

The Guy Behind the Bagels.

Jake has been building spaces people love for a while now. You might know him from The Owl, or RX, or maybe you stumbled into Sunbeam first, either way, you've found the common thread. He's obsessed with creating places that feel good to be in.

Sunbeam started with a simple idea: The Bryan/College Station area deserved a breakfast/lunch spot with real craft behind it. Fresh-made bagels, great coffee, food worth coming back for, and a room full of light that makes the whole morning feel a little better.

There's Room to Sip

We wanted a space great for intimate conversations, or celebrations with friends, or intense study sessions. With three different spaces to choose from, our cafe sitting area, covered patio, or the reading room, you’re very likely to have everything you need.

The name? It's not just poetic. There's a red awning just outside the patio that catches the morning sun and throws this incredible warm glow into the space. Once you've seen it, you get it.

About Those Trains.

The photos on the back wall aren't just decoration. The Southern Pacific Sunbeam was a passenger train that ran through Texas in the mid-20th century: sleek, warm, and built for the journey. It felt right.

We liked the name. We liked the spirit. The train photos came with both.

Jake's other places.

If you like Sunbeam, you might want to check out The Owl and RX, two other spots in the area where the same love of good vibes and good food shows up in a slightly different form.

Kind Words from Wonderful People

What People are Saying.

“Ok I LOVED this place! The shop is so so aesthetically pleasing and cute. I’m obsessed with the way the red roof outside created a hue inside. You can really tell they put thought into the design.”

Aerin

"This is hands down my favorite coffee shop. The coffee is amazing, the food is just as good, and I have truly never had bad service—not even a hint of it. Everyone here is genuinely so kind and welcoming."

Elyssia

"I never leave reviews, but my wife and I have been going to Sunbeam weekly for almost a year now... they are truly stellar. The bagels are perfect. The sandwiches are so flavorful. And the coffee is some of the best in town. They are a wonderful business, and we happily give them our money!"

Christian

"Best bagels in BCS! Very fluffy and big with multiple options. The coffee is also really good with plain and specialty options! Love the interior, and it’s a great place to study! There’s a variety of wooden and cozy seats with colored windows and a cozy decor."
